Silent Reverie

LAYOUT. Silent Reverie

Looks like I'm reverting back to my old habits again. Meaning this layout is really blue. Well, I guess it's not that bad. There are still some hints of purple and green that are kinda visible. But the original image had water in it, so I made the main color scheme blue to give it a watery-ish effect.

This layout features a really nice work of art by the artist William (I have absolutely no idea who he is). I found the image at Aethereality Gallery. Since my computer has been screwed up for a while (it's still screwed up), I couldn't see half the images at Aethereality Gallery, and so didn't see much point in going there often. Imagine my surprise when one day I found a gallery labelled "Taiwanese Arts." Being 100% Taiwanese myself (and having inherited quite a bit of my father's pride in that), I decided to check it out. The artwork is absolutely amazing. It's so detailed, with beautiful colors and peaceful imagery. I have quite a few images from that gallery saved on my computer right now, with the intention of making more layouts that feature Taiwanese art.

Notice that the girl in the image is an elf? I didn't until I was almost done making the layout. I stared at this image for a more than several hours before I realized that her ears were pointy. Kind of sad on my part. (-_-') It's really subtle, though. Even my brother didn't realize it until maybe five minutes after he'd carefully examined it, and he sounded surprised when he said "It's an elf?" So maybe it's not me after all. :P

I added the flower in the bottom left of the main image because it looked a little plain. I swear I've used that same exact flower before.... but I can't remember where. (o_O) It was originally a really odd green color. I recolored it so that it's dark blue in the middle and fades out (kind of) to light blue. I think it's kind of messy, but it looks okay.

Extras...... three avatars (including the one above), two buttons, and a banner. Right click >> save picture as to use.

Please enjoy.
